One Year of The Bevy and We’re Just Getting Started

On July 24, 2024, we officially launched The Bevy Mobile Bar. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we knew two things: we wanted to raise the bar for mobile bartending in Virginia, and we were ready to give it everything we had.

One year later, we’ve served hundreds of incredible guests, poured thousands of cocktails, and celebrated everything from weddings and military promotions to backyard birthday parties and corporate events. We’ve traveled all across Virginia and parts of North Carolina, added a second satellite bar, and remodeled a vintage horse trailer into one of the most versatile and polished bar setups in the region.

We’ve also learned a lot. Like how to survive back-to-back events in 100-degree heat, how to adapt when plans change last minute, and how to build a business that’s both personal and professional. Every event has made us sharper, more confident, and more committed to what we’re creating.

And this month, we’re honored to share some exciting news: The Bevy was named Best New Business of 2025 by Coastal Virginia Magazine. The issue hits mailboxes this July, and we’re proud to be recognized alongside so many other incredible small businesses across the region.

To everyone who’s booked us, tagged us, referred us, or shared a drink with us—thank you. The Bevy is still just getting started, and we’re looking forward to what year two brings.
